We had not visited in a couple of years, and what a pleasant surprise to find the entire place upgraded with a pizza restaurant added and many more beautiful birds to enjoy! A great place to take our grandchildren. And they really do have the Best strawberry shakes around!!
The pizza is great, just go for the pepperoni and cheese. Also, you must try their strawberry shortcake as well. There is plenty to see at the restaurant.
My 2 daughters and I absolutely love this place! They're connected with bambini pizza and the food is so good. The inside of the girls has an old 60s theme, so cute! Their ice cream is so delicious!! In the back of the girls you pay $1 for children and $2 for adults and you can see all different types of birds, they have a small petting zoo area, you can feed the goats. I have not picked strawberries yet but they do offer other u pick items. We did grape tomatoes, they were so fresh and juicy! We love this place! We come almost every week!
This place has awesome food and a great environment filled with retro kitsch that is fun for the whole family. Out back you can pick your own strawberries in season and veggies. It is senior friendly as the beds are raised so no bending. For a small 2 fee they also have a mini bird and small animal zoo which is wonderful. My only complaint is at lunch time it's crazy and we waited 45 minutes for slices of pizza and the order was messed up. I understand it happens but 2 people who arrived after us where served and left before we even got our food. Besides that little hiccup I still love this place and will go back.
So much fun for young kids! The pizza was delicious and there were a ton of ice cream options. The petting zoo and beautiful birds were great to visit. And the funky decor was excellent for the parents and grandparents who had a great time reminiscing while looking at the tons of objects and pictures all over the walls and hanging from the ceiling. A great time was had by all!
