I feel like we came during a bad night. Our server was very overwhelmed and we felt so bad for him. It seemed like he was the only server around. Food runners brought a few different dishes and drinks to our table - none of which were actually ours. Our drinks came out wrong, but we drank them anyways. It took so long to place our food order so we just got an appetizer and decided to get dinner elsewhere. The ambiance is nice and the inside bar is extremely cozy! We’d be willing to try again, but maybe once season is over.
Seems like it should be a fun, cool atmosphere. However, there were not enough employees and cigarrette smoke permeated from everywhere. Also, the bathrooms were in poor condition.
We were a party of 7 and had a reservation. Our table was not under cover and it was raining so we had to wait 45 minutes for a table. If it wasn’t raining, we all would have left. Drinks and food were good but service was very slow. Charcuterie appetizer was good and so was the pasta.
Awesome craft cocktails and small but excellent menu! One of the best burgers in town as cliche as that is. The Poke Bowl is phenomenal. If you want to kick your night up a notch order the Death before Taxes!
Our new favorite spot. The bartender is a “whiskey nerd” (his own words). His old fashions are memorable. The food is unique and complex. The service from the staff makes you feel welcomed. Regulars to Death or Glory we’ll become. Keep it up!
